Pocket Print is a mobile application designed to facilitate printing from iOS devices to Brother Industries' mobile and label printers. The software aims to enhance both functionality and ease of use compared to the previous Mobile Print for Brother.

With Pocket Print, users can print documents and web pages conveniently from anywhere, leveraging wireless LAN connectivity. It supports a range of Brother printers, including models PJ-673, PJ-773, PJ-763FMi, RJ-4040, RJ-3040, and RJ-3150, providing a seamless mobile printing experience.

The application supports printing of various file formats directly from iPads or iPhones, such as PDF, JPEG, PNG, TIFF, BMP, and TXT. Additionally, files stored on cloud services like iCloud, Dropbox, and Google Drive can also be printed—though compatibility with MS Office files (DOC, DOCX, XLS, XLSX, PPT, PPTX) may be limited and often requires converting to PDF beforehand. Note that certain functionality may vary due to updates in iOS specifications.

Key features include the ability to print web pages with support for SSL and Digest authentication, photos, notes (input text only), and P-touch templates compatible with specific printer models. The app also provides options for viewing print history, previewing documents before printing, configuring printer settings, and using the Open-In feature to print from other applications. A simplified print function is available on iOS 8 or later for printing saved files without launching Pocket Print. Additionally, it offers print layout options exclusive to certain models (PJ-673, PJ-773, PJ-763) and supports A5 cut sheet printing for specified printers.

Please be aware that printing MS Office files may not always be reliable; converting files to PDF is recommended for optimal results. An add-on purchase is required to remove watermarks from prints—this fee applies per printer and must be purchased prior to use. At the time of initial setup or during ad-hoc connections without 3G or LTE capabilities, web connection support may be limited; Wi-Fi models may not connect to both printer and internet simultaneously.

The application is available for free download through the App Store. Additional features, such as watermark removal, are sold via in-app purchases with charges billed through iTunes. Refunds and cancellations are not permitted after purchase; users should verify functionality beforehand.

Supported printers include models PJ-673, PJ-773, RJ-4040, RJ-3050, RJ-3150, RJ-2050, RJ-2150, and PJ-763MFi. Compatibility extends to iOS versions 11 through 14 and devices such as iPhone 6 or later and iPad (5th generation or newer).

Note: For terminals supporting AirDrop, it is recommended to disable Bluetooth during printing to prevent communication interference during Open-In or simple print operations.
